Small and medium-sized enterprises or SMEs, play
a crucial role in driving the economy and enhancing
the country's competitiveness. They contribute to job
creation, income distribution, and prosperity across
the world.

Although the impact of the Coronavirus Disease 2019
has diminished since 2022 and business operations
have resumed as usual, the national economy still
shows incomplete recovery. This is due to ongoing
external and internal factors, such as rising energy
and raw material costs, along with local and global
inflation. These elements unavoidably affect consumer
purchasing power and SMEs' production expenses.

I commend the Office of Small and Medium Enterprises
Promotion (OSMEP) for its significant role in fostering
