In this 2-3 years, Thai SMEs has been facing diverse problems,
such as the spread of the Coronavirus Disease 2019, the
impact of the Russian-Ukrainian war, energy prices and rising
costs, inflation, currency fluctuations, etc. Such problems
affect every business, including other countries worldwide
that have experienced the same problems. The government
has made determined efforts to support SMEs in all aspects
including, assist, restore, and enhance SMEs capabilities to
compete at the international level with sustainable growth.

Therefore, the government has taken measures to help
domestic entrepreneurs and support cooperative measures
th
to solve international problems. During the 28 APEC
SME Ministerial Meeting, there was a joint discussion to
build cooperation on sustainable development within
the APEC region. This discussion can be summarized into
4 key issues as follows:

1. Accelerate the application of the bioeconomy circular
economy and green economy (Bio-Circular-Green
Economy Model: BCG Economy Model), which can
